March 4 (SeeNews) - Bosnia and Herzegovina’s ASA Banka [SAJ:IKBZ] said on Tuesday that it generated a net profit of 55.9 million marka ($30.1 million/28.6 million euro) in 2024, up 21.6% compared with the previous year.

Net interest income went up 15.2% on the year to 84.5 million marka, while net fee and commission income inched up 1.7% to 34.8 million marka in 2024, ASA Banka said in a financial statement filed with the Sarajevo Stock Exchange.

The lender's total assets fell to 3.726 billion marka in 2024 from 3.774 billion marka at the end of 2023.

ASA Banka is part of ASA Group, which comprises companies active in banking, consulting, leasing, marketing and other financial services.

ASA Banka's shares last traded on the Sarajevo bourse on Monday, closing 4.23% higher at 177 marka.
